From January 1998 to December 2005, Mr. Bourne served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TransAlta Corporation and he was President of TransAlta Power LP from its inception in March 1998 to December 2006. Prior to 1998, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Canada Post Corporation and spent 22 years with the General Electric Company in Canada and Europe.
