It continues to play the “few bad apples” routine spewed after Bill Blair’s “vast criminal conspiracy” ended up being full of holes. This report makes ludicrous claims such as “the Toronto Police had trouble tracking the black bloc”, even though there is plenty of video evidence showing walls of riot police looking on while the “black bloc” destroyed property without interruptions with police screaming “disengage disengage” in the background. The press picked up on the fact that it was reiterating its call for some countries (including specifically the UK and Germany) to slow the pace of cuts if growth falters. They made the same call in the most recent World Economic Outlook and Director Christine Lagarde urged policy makers not to ‘slam on the fiscal brakes’ in an FT article back in July.
